I recently had a terrific conversation with Jennifer Milius on her “TufFish” podcast. Jennifer summarized our discussion as follows:
“As a writer, do you appreciate the boundaries that writing can create? If so, why? If not, how come? Sometimes when there’s so many ways you can take a story, and in this week’s podcast episode author Mary Camarillo suggests that setting some parameters can help. We talked about how to work through feedback when you may conceptually understand what is being suggested, but not necessarily how to execute it as well as why it’s ok for characters not to be likeable.“
We also eventually talked about our cats. Listen here.
Thanks Jennifer!
